The four-week board and train provides the most comprehensive training experience. With extended time, we can focus on strengthening behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and addressing more established habits. Training is integrated into daily life to help skills carry over into real-world situations.

This program is best for dogs who need extra time, structure, and repetition to create lasting change, as well as owners who want a strong foundation before continuing with private lessons.

In the four week specialized board and train we focus on refining dogs skills with safe on-leash encounters and enhancing their recall commands. The training includes practicing the standard recall, alongside an emergency recall technique designed for critical situations. A thorough review of previously learned behaviors takes place to reinforce retention and execution. Additionally, guidance is provided on how to maintain the established routine and commands, ensuring that the skills developed during training are consistently applied in real-life scenarios.

Week 1: Foundation and Assessment

- Introduction to the training environment and the trainer.

- Initial behavioral assessment to identify specific issues.

- Basic obedience training: sit, stay, recall, focus.

- Introduction to leash manners and walking etiquette.

Week 2: Behavioral Modification

- Targeted training sessions to address identified behavioral issues.

- Operate conditioning techniques for desired behaviors.

- Continued work on basic commands with increasing distractions.

- Socialization exercises with other dogs and people.

Week 3: Advanced Commands and Specialized Training

- Advanced obedience commands: down, heel, leave it, etc.

- Training for specific needs or concerns outlined by the owner.

- Introduction to off-leash training in a controlled environment.

- Continued socialization to reinforce positive behavior.

Week 4: Owner Involvement and Transition

- Transfer of learned behaviors to the owner.

- Hands-on training sessions for the owner with the dog.

- Guidance on maintaining the established routine and commands.

- Gradual transition back to the owner's home environment.
